vmware station虚拟化设置对于性能的影响[0]

硬件是SA5212M4,cpu E5-2698v4

由于是两路cpu,运行winserver2022,两路cpu不共享内存,因此存在性能瓶颈,虚拟化需要发挥性能,同时避免瓶颈。

  • 主机的性能测试

  • vmware station 17下虚拟机的vcpu设置

1)4个处理器*8个内核=32vcpu

2)2个处理器*16内核=32vpu

3)1个处理器*32内核=32vcpu

 

小结:

由于实际上win10 虚拟机最多识别2个cpu插槽,因此设置的vcpu数量会转换成线程数,因此最多vcpu/2的线程,当设置处理器数量为4个以上时,线程程数将只是到达vcpu/2,因此cpuz在性能测试时并不会提升。相比之下直接设置1个处理器配置多个内核对于虚拟机性能意义还大一点。

目前work station最多支持32个vcpu

实际测试时,无论是主机还是虚拟机,都无法使得物理cpu的主频达到3.6GHZ,最多工作在2.7GHZ。
